Jo Daviess County: Biomass Heating Meeting

The Northwest Illinois Forestry Association (NIFA) will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, January 14th, 7:00 PM, at the Stockton Public Library, 140 W. Benton Ave., in Stockton.  NIFA members and the general public are encouraged to attend.   After a short business meeting and finalizing this year’s agenda of meetings and field trips, Extension Educator Jay Solomon will report and review the recent Biomass Heating Symposium held at Highland Community College.  Mr. Solomon will cover what was presented and invite a discussion of biomass heating opportunities in northwest Illinois.
 
To reach the Stockton Library, take Main St. (Hwy 78) through Stockton to the north edge of the downtown business district.  Turn west on W. Benton Ave. between Bauer’s Insurance and The Corner Tap.  The Library is on the southeast corner at the end of the first block.  There is no charge to attend this meeting.
