On Saturday, April 20th, join us for our very first public tour of the Illinois Forestry Association's Lovett Forest! As you may recall, this 80-acre forest was donated to the IFA in 2023. IFA President, Paul Deizman will be leading this hike and discussing the history of the property as well as how the IFA intends to steward this forest. This is a great opportunity for members and the public to get their very first look at the property and take an active interest in the stewardship of this forest. So, throw on your hiking boots and come take part in the first viewing of the property!
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will meet at the Mccully Heritage Project Pavilion at 12:45 pm and carpool to the property which is conveniently just 10 minutes away.
Address of Carpool Location: Crawford Creek Rd, Kampsville, IL 62053
