The Illinois Forestry Association brings together people who care deeply about that legacy. Our members are forest landowners, farmers, small-acreage owners, foresters, arborists, community leaders, educators, businesses, conservation organizations, and concerned citizens.

We come from different backgrounds and manage forests in different ways, but we share a common belief: healthy forests matter—and they must be cared for today so they can thrive tomorrow.

We are a grassroots organization built on a simple idea: when people come together, we can make a difference. We connect people with knowledge, with one another, and with the resources they need to care for the land. We speak up for the future of Illinois forests and work to ensure that forest stewardship remains a priority for generations to come.
