Healthy Forests, Today and Tomorrow

Your Land

The pages in this section describe topics that should be of concern to all forest landowners.  These topics explain risks that are as real to your woodlands as the emerald ash borer or thousand canker disease.  The IFA advises all of our members to have well-defined boundaries, adequate insurance, and a comprehensive succession plan that has been agreed upon by all parties involved.

To help you in managing your land, there are professionals and volunteers in government agencies as well as non-profit organizations.  To find the resources for your county, click on the button below and enter your county name (without any spaces or punctuation).

The number of counties covered by each IDNR professional is listed, which should give you some idea of how busy they are.  Those with more than three counties may not be able to field your requests immediately.
