• Participate on a state or regional IFA committee
• Contribute articles for our newsletter and website
• Provide a financial gift or contribution to IFA
• Host a local field day or workshop

IFA membership is open to everyone, not just landowners. Membership includes new member packet, newsletters, free timber sale postings, invitation to workshops and forestry tours, benefits from our partnerships with other organizations, and a recognized voice in Illinois forestry.


As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your membership dues are tax deductible.

To join by mail, please return your completed membership application along with annual dues payment to:

Individual Membership Basic level of membership where the member solely represents himself/herself.	$25
Family Membership Ideal for family member where immediate family members represent family/property issues	$40
Business Membership This membership is ideal for any business or company that operates for profit.	$100
Student Membership This membership supports full-time students in high school and college. Non-voting status.	$10
Sustaining Membership For individuals and entities who financially support IFA at a suggested minimum level or above. Membership is honorary.	$100
Non-Profit Organization Membership For groups, organizations, and units of government who operate in a non-profit status.	$50
Lifetime Membership For individuals and groups to ensure benefits/support into the future. Paid in two installments - 6 months apart.	$500
